HBUMP is a paperfree school. We accept applications and camp registration only through this site.
Registration for Preschool
Online registration for 2025-2026 school year will be open beginning Monday January 13, 2025 at 8:00am through Friday January 24, 2025 at 1:00pm.
A registration fee of one-month’s tuition is due upon submission of a child’s application. This fee is non-refundable upon placement in a class. For families registering more than one child, there is a maximum $700 registration fee per family. All families will be notified of class placement or waitlist status by early February.
Priority of registration is in the following order: returning students, siblings of returning students, Hayes Barton United Methodist Church (HBUMC) members, and the General Public.
HBUMP does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, and ethnic origin in its educational policies, admissions, scholarships, and any school related programs.
The governing body of the preschool is the Hayes Barton United Methodist Church Preschool Board. Our Board determines tuition, fees, and all operational and personnel policies. Please click hereto learn about various financial assistance packages available at HBUMP.

Tuition and Fees
Our tuition amounts for the 2025-2026 school year are as follows:

A first tuition payment is required for ALL students on or before May 1, 2025. This payment is non-refundable. This payment will be applied as tuition for the following May (May 2026).
The remaining tuition payments are due the first of each month, beginning September 1, 2025. We offer two payment plans:
Option 1: Monthly payments due on the 1st of the month September - April
Option 2: Yearly payment due on September 1
Parents are encouraged to use the bank draft option for scheduled payments. A $20.00 late fee applies if payment is not received ten business days following the due date. Returned checks or draft payments for insufficient funds will be assessed a $25.00 fee. HBUMP reserves the right to dismiss any child when tuition payments are two months delinquent, and a payment arrangement has not been made with the Director and Accountant.
To withdraw a child after the start of the school year, a 30-day written notice is required. Tuition for the withdrawal month, the subsequent month tuition and a withdrawal administration fee of $50.00 are required and NON-REFUNDABLE.
